Alas, the tough air of Delhi in winter has knocked out my respiratory system. I feel like I've got emphysema mixed with the flu. Yikes -- same thing I came down with last time. No workouts, and no more fun.....Hope it doesn't take a week to get over. Boo hoo.

Jet Lag Work Session

My internal clock is totally messed up as Delhi is 13 and a half hours ahead of San Francisco. I can't remember why its an additional half hour on top of the other gap, but I'm sure there's a good Indian reason to be on some non-standard time to the rest of the world.

I am a true jet lagger -- falling asleep mid-day and wide awake at 3am here, which is mid-afternoon back home. Heading on to NZ and then the rest of way around will keep me even more off balance I'm sure.

Prashast and Gayatri picked me up for delivery to their brother's B-Day party at the new house he and Pearl built in "Nirvana." Prashast is joined by Dali, whom I met in Paris where they were both on art scholarships. And Gayatri is joined by Jay, who I met when I was ill beyond all description just south of Manali during my prior cycling trip.

An early night by these folks standards!
